1. Determine the VIN of the vehicle and tell us. We need the VIN to find the correct Tuning files we made for the car.
2. Carry out a short test with an original Xentry tester or comparable system and print out the short test protocol and have it ready. Is there a fault in the engine control unit (ECU), transmission control unit (TCU) or the powertrain control unit (CPC)? The protocol is needed to establish a better finding.
3. Check fault codes in:
1. ECU – boost pressure, misfire, other issue
2. TCU – torque management, other issue
3. CPC – Exhaust flaps, other issue
4. Make a log file with Autotuner, bFlash or similar tools that were used to record the engine data during the power measurement?
Why do we need so much information about the vehicle being complained about? Since the engine performance depends on the measurement method, atmospheric pressure, test room temperature, airflow fan and many other factors, it is not possible to make a general statement.
